Tired of being broke? Tired of living paycheck to paycheck? Your finances seem to be the number one topic. We want to save, but we don’t have enough money left. You want to start saving now, but you don’t know how to start saving now or how to get motivated.
What if I tell you that I used to live like this, paycheck to paycheck, in debt and blaming others for having “money” problems and I couldn’t live like that. It seems that we are living a world where we tend to blame others for our financial mess instead of taking responsibility for our actions.
We develop this broke mindset and can’t seem to understand what the meaning of wealth is about. We appear to think that having money and material defines who we are as people. We seem to have forgotten that the simple things matter and should matter more now!
When I decided that I wanted to stop living like this and start living life I didn’t want money to control me and tell me how to live my life. I needed to start managing my money and start saving now!
I knew that if I didn’t start saving money now, I was never going to do it. I knew that if I didn’t change my broke mindset and start turning that mindset into a wealthy one, I was never going anywhere.
You can sit and find excuses as to why you can’t do it. Believe me, I sure did, but the reality is that you can, and many others have succeeded, so what is holding you back? You are responsible for your own life and finances. No one owes you anything, and you are in control of your life.
I learned that hard way that I can depend on me, and since I got myself into my financial mess, I needed to get myself out. Fast forward today, and we are making progress.

Having a financial plan will also motivate you to keep going. You see I never wrote any financial plan at all.
Only until I started my financial journey did my simple financial plan and goals turned into saving about $20K, This financial goal enabled me to quit my job and become a stay at home mom.
I couldn’t have accomplished that goal if it hadn’t been for great financial planning. Mind you; this took years, but it was so worth it!
Once you create this financial goal or goals, place a copy of your plan in a location that will remind you from now on why you decided to start saving today! Take a photo and put it on your phone as a wallpaper. Place it on your wall, fridge door; anywhere you will be able to see it and be reminded why you decided to start saving.
