September is here!! Fall is near, and this mama is so happy and feeling pretty good about everything. I am pretty sure you are looking forward to this August 2016 Online Income Report post to see how much this Mamacita made last month!
If you didn’t know, so far this year I have managed to make over $11,000 on online income; and if you didn’t know and would like to know more details about it, I suggest you click here and read about it.
For some reason when the kids start school and fall approaches, it feels like a new beginning for me. I don’t know why, but it does. My mood improves, I feel refreshed, and I manage to concentrate more. I also took a course on improving my time management that is truly helping me stay focused and do more work with my time.
I’m also going to increase the time I spent working online since the kids are in school. My hope is to have my eBook out and start working on my other projects. Hopefully one of my other projects won’t take as long as my first eBook! LOL
One thing I am noticing (I did not put it down in my income report this month) is the increase in affiliate sales. I give all the credit to an amazing course called Making Sense of Affiliate Marketing*. Though I have not received any actual payments, I can expect to start making a small amount each month as it seems to be increasing since I started to implement what I am learning from it.
*Starting September 26th to Friday, September 30th you can score $28 off the course with this code 28OFFSALE when you click here!
Also, I wanted to mention that if you are a new blogger and looking for a blogging planner and don’t want to spend money, I use the free EBA Blogging Planner available here. Click the Resource tab, then Free Planner.
What I did with this planner was I had it printed in Office Depot, it didn’t cost much. I also used a code they had to bring the cost even lower.
If you are new to my blog, for quite some time I have started writing about my monthly online income report to help me get out of my comfort zone and for accountability. I became a stay at home mom after working for over 15 years. This journey was rough for me, and not just financially, but emotionally too. I formed some stay at home mom bad habits that lead me to get out of my comfort zone and that lead me to start making money starting a blog.
I use BlueHost to start my blog, and personally never had any issues with them. It is affordable, and for over three years, it is the company I use to run My Stay At Home Adventures with no major issues what so ever.
After reading this book, How To Blog For Profit: Without Selling Your Soul, I became more confident and decided I could increase my income. The funny part was that I decided to aim low when it came to my income goal. I didn’t dare to dream big at the time.
I joined EBA (Elite Blog Academy) and that changed the way I handled my blog. I learned so much from turning my blog into a business, and started from there. It was when I lost a chunk of my income that the drive to make more money from this blog became more important. My online income goals became bigger!
With that drive, I made new goals for 2016 that included the following:
A New Look! – I continue to work on behind the scene to make this happen, and you should see this late spring/early summer. – Done
Continue to grow my business – The minute I decided to turn this blog into a business, everything changed for me. I invested in some courses and some other resources to help me – Work in progress
Increase my page views to 250,000 – Pageviews are down, very down. But the year is not over, and my goal is achievable.
Earn a monthly income of $2,000 a month – When I lost a chunk of our income, I was panicking; but I sure was so wrong about it. I think this goal is attainable, and one way to also put it is that this year I would like to make $22,000 this year or more. – This month I made over this amount. – I am not giving up on this goal at all!
Help others – Giving back is an amazing feeling. As the year progresses, this is something that I enjoy doing. Seeing others succeed warms my heart. – This is a continuing progress.
As you can see from the goals above, I have completed some, and not completed others; but the year is not over, and my drive is still there.

Why are expensive high this month? When I purchase anything, I tend to go with paying less; and if that means paying a yearly amount to pay less, I do it. I paid for them in full, and these purchases should benefit me in the future. I also invested in a new course too.
There you have my August 2016 Online Income Report. I want to know how your month went; and if you have an income report, please share it, I want to check it out!
