Read how fabulous or terrible my March online income was. Increasing my online income is my top goal for 2016 and each month I will show you. What happened to March? I am sitting here this weekend wondering what happened to this month! A few more weeks and baby Z will be arriving! It is also time for March online income report, where you get to find out how much money I made online!

March was a work hard month for me. I have been very focused on my blog goals and personal goals. As you know, I decided to start an online income report to encourage myself and everyone who has decided to start a blog that making money is possible.

Of course, how much money and/or successful you are depends on you, but I will say that blogging is not as easy, or as simple, as people might think. I encourage you all to read my online income report blogs and read about my success and my failures.

Last month I decided to read this book called 6 Months to 6 Figures, and it has been the motivation I needed to continue with my goals. I also encourage you all to read this book too: Money-Making Mom: How Every Woman Can Earn More and Make a Difference.

Last month I worked on writing and having my schedule filled out. I also worked on growing my social media as well. I also got my email situation taken care of, but not to the level I want. You see, I know I should grow my email subscription, but I am undecided on what I want to give my readers as an opt-in.

I know I will figure it out and get motivated on creating a booming email subscription. In the mean time, I need to continue to grow and make sure my blogs are ready when baby Z arrives.

Enough yapping about me and let’s get into how much income I generated online!

March Social Media Update

  • Pinterest  –7277       April –9435 <— nice!
  • Facebook –7223        April – 7496
  • Twitter – 1680      April –1787

Page views – 92,672

My pageviews are up, and this is because I decided to take action and get motivated. You see, Pinterest is my #1 source of traffic, and we all know that they decided to change things around. That being said, I am to blame for the lack of pageviews and this is why:

You don’t get comfortable or settled!

I was comfortable enough to do something that I advised against and that is to set and forget Boardbooster! I decided to spend the time and figure it out. Instead of sitting here crying and blaming Pinterest for my pageviews dip, I got to work.

No, Pinterest doesn’t hurt group boards. Pinterest doesn’t hate you! You just have to stop believing everything you read and take it to heart and start doing your own research. What works for others, might not work for your blog.

I have tons of suggestions, and I don’t mind sharing; but I came to the realization that many people simply want an easy answer to everything, or they rather pay for the information that sometimes seems to be the same and/or doesn’t work for them.

A great advice I heard during a webinar is this:

“Stop giving free advice! People seem to listen to paid information better.”

Though I was taken aback by the comment, and was wondering why people will pay for advice, I totally get it. However, I will write about my Pinterest growth and what is working for me later this month and show you the results.

In the meantime, you are more than welcome to email me or sign up for my emails.

Below is the income my blog generated by ads only during the month of March. The reason why is because my goal is to increase my ad network income each month. This is a personal goal of mine. However, the actual money I got paid will be shown separately.

Ad Network Income: $591.78

  • Adsense – $109.26
  • Media Net – $53.62
  • TBN –$428.90

Since I started my blog, I always said that I wanted to increase my passive incomes, which are ads. Many people hate it, and others are OK with ads; but the truth is, they pay the bills and is something that I am not against.

In order to grow my ad network income, I have to increase my pageviews; that’s one thing I am focusing on. There is no magic solution to increasing your pageviews fast, but with hard work, that’s what I am focusing on. As you can see, they did a nice jump to 92,672 in March.

Now this is the money I received in my accounts.

  • Escalate Network – $27.00
  • Media.net – $116.09
  • Adsense – $00.00
  • TBN –       $258.16
  • Sponsored post – $275.00
  • Izea – $0.00
  •  Clever Girl – $00.00
  • Linqia – $00.00
  • She Know – $20.00
  • Misc – $63.00
  • Affiliate – $8.50

Total amount actually paid in March – $767.75

March income was nice, and though not the $2,000 a month I am aiming for, I am happy with it. One of the things I am working on is using my blog money and saving it. I also have big expenses coming up in a few months, and I must save for that as well.

I also have a baby coming, and I want to make sure that the sites are running smoothly.

Total March Blog Expenses

March expenses were a bit high, but I had to travel earlier this month which was part of the increase you will see there.

Add the additional monthly expenses:

  • BoardBooster – $25.00
  • Advertisement – $36.01
  • Canva – $10.00
  • Domain -$10.87
  • Izea – $1.00
  • Giveaway – $00.00
  • Travel – $112.94
  • Writers – $50.00
  • Misc. – 13.00

Total Expenses – $258.82

This is my March income report. For some reason, I am extremely happy with the results and the morale boost it has given me. One book I am reading is really helping me with staying focused and motivated. Also, the fact that having people that are focusing on the same goals is the best thing I have ever done.

So how was your March online income report?

  1. Great post. I can’t wait to see your Pinterest tips. I have my Board booster set and to be honest I haven’t looked at in awhile. I should really get on that.
