How to bake pork chops or how to cook pork chops in the oven is something that many new cooks wonder.
The oven can make it easier to cook while doing other things, but if you’ve tried this before and ended up with dried out chops, you may be a bit discouraged.
The good news is it is actually easier to do than you might have thought.
How to Cook Pork Chops in the Oven
One of the reasons pork chops dry out in the oven is baking is a dry heat form of cooking. This is easily remedied by adding liquid to your baking vessel. You want to do this in a way that your pork doesn’t sit in the liquid.
This can be done by placing your chops which you can season with your favorite herbs and spices into a dish you form out of aluminum foil and then set into a baking dish.
Pour the liquid of your choice into the pan, careful not to get the liquid inside your pan made of aluminum foil.
Cover the outer pan in a layer of aluminum foil and bake at 400 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes, depending on thickness, or until the pork reaches an internal temperature of 145 degrees Fahrenheit.
Allow the meat to rest for five minutes once removed from the oven.
How to Cook Boneless Pork Chops
Cooking boneless pork chops can be done with the same method listed above.

You do need to remember that bone-in pork chops will naturally be juicier. Boneless will also cook faster, depending on thickness. Once you get the hang of it, try adding different liquids to the pan.
You can infuse delicious flavor into the meat by using apple juice, pineapple juice, or even orange soda.
