Completos are Chile’s popular “loaded” hot dogs that are not your regular boring American hot dogs!

Americans across the country all have different ways of enjoying a hot dog. From the plain and simple mustard and onions to the Chicago dog that is loaded with toppings, there’s no wrong way to eat a hot dog – unless you’re over the age of 6 and still eating it with ketchup – eww. If you want to try something new, though, why not try completos.

How to make completos

Now that you have gathered your ingredients, it is time to make completos. All you have to do is follow the steps below:

In a bowl, mix the mayo with the lime juice and garlic powder. Set aside so that the flavors have time to combine.

In another bowl, mix the avocado with salt and pepper. Set aside. If you’re doing this hours ahead of time, add a bit of lime juice to keep the avocado from browning.

In a separate bowl season the tomato with salt and pepper.
