If you are missing the delicious white chocolate frappuccino, you don’t need to go out anymore to buy it. Or how about you go out to buy the ingredients only and make the frappe at home and share it with your family or friends. It will be so much fun plus you’ll be saving some, too.

It's also a perfect refreshment for summer. I remember when I made one of my favorite fritters, the Mexican Buñuelos, it is so good to go along with the white chocolate frappuccino!

White Chocolate Frappuccino Ingredients:

Checking out the ingredients, here are what you will need the following:

  • White Chocolate Chips – This is what makes your white chocolate frappuccino a white chocolate frappuccino, obviously. Bring home your favorite ones. Sweetened, semi-sweet, or unsweetened, it’s your choice., I like semi sweets though.
  • Espresso – I love the aroma of hot espresso. By the way, coffee and espresso are different for those who are not sure. Although they are made with coffee beans, they are processed differently. They can be both grounded, but the espresso is a bit finer, but not too fine. The way they are prepared is different, too. Brewing a coffee takes time because it relies on slow filtering. Espresso is also made in a machine (espresso machine). It makes hot pressurized water and then shoots out the almost boiling water through the packed ground espresso. That’s the press in espresso. You’ll get your shot of hot espresso in 30 seconds or less. And, yes, it is served in shots. That’s about 1 oz.
  • Half and a half – this is dairy made of equal parts of whole milk and heavy cream. So, if you make a cup of half and half, you’ll mix half a cup of each. You can easily get them from the grocery or make them at home with your favorite dairy.
  • Whipped cream -you’ll put this as your topping. Yummy! I enjoyed using the ones in cans. But I also make whipped cream because I can always adjust the sweetness and the flavor. I don’t have a fancy whipped cream dispenser. What I do is place the whipped cream in a medium-sized piping bag or just a zip-lock plastic bag and cut one end, then pipe the whipped cream out onto your white chocolate frappuccino.
  • Ice cubes – to make the most refreshing white chocolate frappuccino.

That’s just five ingredients!

If you don’t have the espresso machine yet, you can check them here. There is a lot to choose from that matches your budget.

TIPS: For heavy cream and whipped cream substitutes

A couple of bonus recipes

You don’t have heavy cream on hand? You can easily make one using whole milk and melted butter. Place 2 Tbsp warm melted butter in a medium bowl. Stream a cup of whole milk into the butter while mixing. Continue mixing until the mixture is smooth, about 2 minutes.

You can also make homemade whipped cream using your homemade heavy cream. Allow cooling for a few minutes. Then add 2-3 Tbsp powdered sugar and whip the cream until medium-stiff peaks form. You may also add a few drops of vanilla. Use immediately.
