In the glass of a high-powered blender add the lemon juice, sugar, mint, and water. Pulse until everything is well incorporated and the mint is pureed.

Add the ice and continue pulsing until fully crushed and the consistency you want.

Pour into 4 glasses and garnish with lemon slices or mint sprigs. Serve immediately.

This frozen mint lemonade is incredibly delicious and refreshing! A traditional Middle Eastern drink called limonana, it’s the perfect way to cool off on a hot afternoon.

Ingredients

  • ¾ Cup lemon juice
  • ½ Cup sugar
  • ½ Cup mint
  • 1 Cup water
  • 3 ½ Cups ice

Instructions

In the glass of a high-powered blender, add the lemon juice, sugar, mint, and water. Pulse until everything is well incorporated.

Add the ice and continue pulsing until fully crushed.

Pour into 4 glasses and garnish with lemon slices or mint sprigs.


Notes

●If you want a tarter lemonade, you can use ½ cup lemon juice and ¼ cup lime juice. You might need to bump up the sugar and add 2 tablespoons more.
