Using a sharp knife or an ice cream, scoop the core of the apples. Once the core is out and using a spoon take out the extra seeds and pieces. Make sure to not break through the sides or bottom of the apples, or all your ingredients will leak out.

In a bowl, beat the butter with the brown sugar and spices until you have a thick paste. Add the oats and stir to combine.

Spoon the filling into each apple until full. Don’t overpack the apples, or the ingredients won’t cook properly.

Place the trivet into the Instant Pot. Add the apples and close the lid and valve.
Set on high pressure for 3 minutes.
Manually release steam. Open the valve and lid and spoon the apples onto plates. Be careful when removing from the Instant Pot. The apples will be really soft. Top with whipped cream, ice cream, caramel, etc. Or enjoy plain.
