Effective Date: 08/22/2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) apply to all Budget Motivation sessions, budgeting education sessions, accountability services, group sessions, challenges, workshops, and related services offered by My Stay At Home Adventures (“we,” “us,” or “our”).
By purchasing, booking, or participating in one of our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms.
If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not purchase or book a session.
1. What These Services Are
Our Budget Motivation services are designed to provide practical budgeting education, encouragement, motivation, accountability, and general support for adults who want to improve the way they manage their household money.
Depending on the service you choose, we may help you:
- Start or organize a household budget.
- Review spending habits and patterns.
- Set realistic budgeting or savings goals.
- Get back on track after falling behind.
- Stay motivated and accountable to goals you choose.
- Identify areas of spending you may want to change.
- Develop practical next steps that fit your household.
- Discuss grocery budgeting and everyday household spending.
- Work through challenges that are making it difficult to stay consistent.
Our role is to help you understand your options, ask questions, provide education and encouragement, and help you remain accountable to the goals you choose for yourself.
2. You Remain in Control of Your Money
These sessions are collaborative.
We are not here to take control of your finances or tell you exactly what you must do with your money.
You are responsible for deciding whether a suggestion, budgeting strategy, savings goal, spending change, or other action is appropriate for you and your household.
You remain solely responsible for all financial decisions you make before, during, and after a session.
3. What These Services Are Not
Budget Motivation is an educational and motivational service.
It is not a substitute for individualized advice from a properly licensed or qualified professional.
We do not provide:
- Investment advice.
- Securities or portfolio recommendations.
- Tax advice or tax preparation.
- Legal advice.
- Bankruptcy advice.
- Debt-settlement services.
- Credit-repair services.
- Insurance advice.
- Retirement or estate planning.
- Accounting services.
- Therapy, mental-health treatment, diagnosis, or crisis services.
No financial adviser-client, fiduciary, attorney-client, therapist-client, medical provider-patient, or similar licensed professional relationship is created through these services.
If your situation requires assistance outside the scope of our services, we may encourage you to speak with an appropriate financial, tax, legal, mental-health, or other qualified professional.
4. No Guaranteed Financial Results
Budgeting is personal, and results vary widely between households.
We cannot and do not guarantee that participating in a session, group, challenge, or program will cause you to:
- Save a specific amount of money.
- Reduce your spending by a specific amount.
- Pay off debt.
- Increase your income.
- Improve your credit score.
- Reach a particular financial goal.
- Experience any specific financial outcome.
Your results depend on many factors, including your income, expenses, household circumstances, decisions, consistency, and actions.
Any examples, success stories, savings amounts, testimonials, or client experiences shared by us represent individual experiences and are not promises of what you will personally achieve.
5. Beta Services
Some services may initially be offered as a beta or introductory service.
Beta services allow us to test and improve our session structure, resources, scheduling, client experience, and educational materials.
Beta pricing may be significantly lower than future pricing.
Receiving a beta or introductory price does not guarantee that the same price will be available for future sessions, programs, groups, or services.
We may modify, expand, rename, discontinue, or change the format of beta services as we learn what works best.
Any material change affecting a service you have already purchased will be communicated to you.
6. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into an agreement to purchase or participate in our services.
Our services are intended for personal and household budgeting education unless a specific service states otherwise.
7. Booking and Payment
Payment is required at the time of booking unless otherwise stated.
Prices are displayed before checkout and may change from time to time.
The price shown and accepted at the time of your purchase will apply to that purchase.
Payments may be processed through third-party payment providers such as Stripe. Those providers may have their own terms and privacy practices.
We do not receive or store your complete credit-card information.
8. Intake Forms
You may be asked to complete an intake form before your session.
The intake form helps us understand what you would like to work on so that we can use your session time effectively.
Please provide accurate information to the best of your knowledge.
You should never provide us with:
- Social Security numbers.
- Banking passwords.
- Credit-card passwords.
- Online banking login credentials.
- Full bank account numbers.
- Full credit-card numbers.
- PIN numbers.
- Security codes.
- Other credentials that would allow someone to access your financial accounts.
You decide what financial information you are comfortable discussing.
9. Scheduling and Availability
Sessions are available only during published appointment times.
Booking availability may change based on our schedule, holidays, personal availability, program capacity, or other circumstances.
Booking a session reserves that specific appointment time for you.
Please arrive on time so that you receive the full benefit of your appointment.
A late arrival generally does not extend the scheduled ending time because another appointment may follow yours.
10. Rescheduling, Cancellations, and No-Shows
Your appointment time is reserved specifically for you. Because we offer a limited number of individual sessions, advance notice is required when you need to change an appointment.
You may reschedule an individual session without penalty by providing at least 24 hours’ notice before the scheduled start time.
When at least 24 hours’ notice is provided, the amount you paid will be applied to your rescheduled appointment rather than refunded.
Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice are generally nonrefundable and not eligible for rescheduling.
If you do not attend your scheduled appointment and have not contacted us, the appointment will be considered a no-show. No-show appointments are nonrefundable, and a new session must be purchased if you would like to book another appointment.
If you are more than 10 minutes late without contacting us, the session may be treated as a no-show. If we are still able to meet, the session will end at its originally scheduled time so that later appointments are not affected.
We understand that genuine emergencies happen. Exceptions may be considered at our discretion on a case-by-case basis, but an exception is not guaranteed and does not change this policy for future appointments.
11. Refund Policy
Because Budget Motivation sessions reserve a specific block of time and involve preparation before the appointment, payments are generally nonrefundable once the cancellation window has passed.
A completed session is nonrefundable.
A client who provides at least 24 hours’ notice may reschedule the session as described above rather than receive a refund.
Digital materials, worksheets, downloads, or other resources delivered as part of a service are also nonrefundable once accessed or delivered, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
If we cancel a paid session and cannot provide a reasonable replacement appointment that works for you, you may choose either to reschedule or receive a full refund for the affected session.
Any refund required by applicable law will be honored.
12. Group Programs, Challenges, and Workshops
Registration for a group program reserves one of a limited number of available seats.
Unless otherwise stated before purchase, group-program payments are nonrefundable once the program has begun.
If you miss an individual group meeting, workshop, or challenge session, no partial refund or credit is provided for the missed meeting because the group session still took place and your seat was reserved.
If we cancel an entire group program before it begins, participants will receive either a replacement program option or a refund of the amount paid for the canceled program.
If an individual group meeting must be canceled by us, we will make reasonable efforts to reschedule that meeting or provide an appropriate alternative.
13. Privacy and Confidentiality
We will treat information you share with us with respect and will not intentionally publish your private financial information without permission.
However, Budget Motivation services are not therapy, legal services, medical care, or another profession in which communications may receive a special legal privilege.
Communications with us should therefore not be considered legally privileged.
Information may also pass through third-party services used to provide the service, such as email providers, scheduling platforms, payment processors, forms, cloud storage, or video meeting platforms.
Please review our separate Privacy Policy for additional information about how website and customer information is handled.
14. Session Recordings
Sessions may not be audio recorded, video recorded, transcribed, screen recorded, or otherwise captured by a client or group participant without prior permission.
We will not intentionally record a private or group session without obtaining appropriate permission from the people participating.
15. Technology
Online sessions may use services such as Google Meet or another video-conferencing platform.
You are responsible for having a working device, internet connection, microphone, and any other technology necessary to participate.
Technology occasionally fails.
If a significant technical problem prevents a session from reasonably taking place, we will work with you to reschedule the affected portion or session when appropriate.
16. Email and Service Communications
When you purchase or book a service, you authorize us to send communications reasonably necessary to provide that service, including:
- Booking confirmations.
- Scheduling information.
- Intake forms.
- Meeting links.
- Session reminders.
- Payment or receipt information.
- Follow-up information related to your service.
Purchasing a service does not automatically require you to consent to unrelated promotional email marketing where separate consent is required.
17. Client Responsibility and Participation
Budget Motivation works best when you participate honestly and take responsibility for the goals you choose.
We may encourage you, challenge you, ask whether you completed something you committed to doing, or help you reconsider a plan that is not working.
Accountability does not mean judgment.
You are free to reject a suggestion, change a goal, ask questions, or decide that a particular strategy does not work for your household.
The purpose of accountability is to help you move toward the goals you identified, not to pressure you into decisions you do not want to make.
18. Respectful Conduct
We want these services to remain welcoming and respectful.
We reserve the right to end a session, remove someone from a group, decline future appointments, or terminate a service relationship when a participant engages in threatening, abusive, discriminatory, harassing, fraudulent, or seriously disruptive behavior.
We may also decline or end a service when we reasonably believe that the person’s needs are outside the scope of what we provide.
19. Educational Materials and Intellectual Property
Worksheets, trackers, guides, templates, downloads, exercises, videos, written materials, session resources, and other materials provided through our services remain the intellectual property of My Stay At Home Adventures or the applicable rights holder unless specifically stated otherwise.
Unless we give you written permission, materials provided to you are for your personal use only.
You may not:
- Resell them.
- Redistribute them as your own.
- Upload them for public distribution.
- Repackage them into another paid product.
- Remove ownership or copyright notices.
- Use them to create a competing product or service.
You may print or make personal-use copies when appropriate.
20. Testimonials and Feedback
We may ask participants for voluntary feedback after a session or program.
Providing feedback does not automatically give us permission to publicly identify you.
If we would like to use your name, image, identifiable story, or testimonial for marketing purposes, we will request appropriate permission.
Any testimonial used must reflect the person’s genuine experience.
We will not require you to provide a positive review as a condition of receiving services.
21. Third-Party Services and Links
Our services and website may use or link to third-party platforms, websites, software, resources, or tools.
We do not control those third parties and are not responsible for their independent content, availability, security, policies, or practices.
Your use of a third-party service may be governed by that provider’s own terms.
22. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, My Stay At Home Adventures and its owners, employees, contractors, coaches, representatives, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your participation in the services or financial decisions you make.
You understand that you remain responsible for verifying information and deciding whether any action is appropriate for your personal circumstances.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for a claim arising directly from a particular paid service will not exceed the amount you paid to us for the service giving rise to that claim.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to waive rights or remedies that cannot legally be waived.
23. No Waiver of Consumer Rights
Nothing in these Terms is intended to eliminate or restrict any consumer right that applicable law does not permit us to waive.
If any part of these Terms conflicts with a mandatory consumer-protection law, that law will control to the extent required.
24. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable consumer law requires otherwise.
Any legal proceeding that is permitted to be brought in court will be handled in an appropriate court with jurisdiction in Pennsylvania, unless applicable law requires a different location.
25. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms as our services develop or as business, legal, or operational requirements change.
The current version will be posted on our website with an updated effective date.
Changes will generally apply to future purchases and participation after the updated Terms take effect.
If a material change affects a service you already purchased, we will handle that change reasonably and in accordance with applicable law.
26. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful, invalid, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect to the extent legally permitted.
27. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with any applicable checkout terms, program-specific terms, Privacy Policy, and policies expressly incorporated into them, constitute the agreement governing your participation in the applicable service.
If a specific program clearly provides terms that differ from these general Terms, the program-specific terms will control for that particular service.
28. Electronic Acceptance
Checking a box stating that you agree to these Terms, completing a purchase after being presented with these Terms, or otherwise electronically accepting them has the same effect as agreeing to them in writing.
Please review the Terms before completing your purchase.
