Not only do I have to worry about stepping on Legos, but I also have to worry about stepping over these miniature Thomas the tank and friends.
What's a Thomas & Friends Minis?
If you are not familiar with the Thomas and Friends Minis, let me give you a quick history about it.
Sometime in 2015, Thomas turned 70 and to celebrate Mattel was like let’s make a brand new Thomas and Friends toy call Minis.
Let’s make them small with 4 wheels chassis configurations that can hook and loop in their own railroad system.

The average dimensions of Thomas and Friends minis are L 1.9″ x W .9″ x H 1.2″.
How many Thomas & Friends Minis are there to collect?
According to Fandon.com, there are over 80 minis and with more to come. Their popularity picked up and Mattel decided to continue to expand.
In 2019 it is believed that minis with a theme of based on pets, Holidays, medieval and more.

Well, guess what?
They became so freaking popular popping all over the big retailers like Wal-Mart, Target, and such.
My kids love them, heck my husband and brother and even my mom loves those things!

But as they are growing and changing (my boys are autistic) I have caved in and bought him a few things that he enjoys. Well, all of my kids. 😉

I so miss the days of Thomas in our house. When my son was 1-2 years old, everything was Thomas, Thomas, Thomas. He would sit in the family room on his little chair with Thomas, James and Percy. He couldn’t get enough. Enjoy the time while Thomas is still cool!
My first boy was able to “meet” Thomas and ride it. Now that was something to see. His face and his excitement! I am hopping my other boys continue to enjoy Thomas too!
