If you’re a blogger, I bet you use Pinterest to help drive traffic back to your site. After all, don’t most bloggers say that Pinterest is a big source of traffic for them? And, if you’ve been blogging for a while, you may have experienced something that many of us have:
One day, you notice that your Pinterest traffic is down. Maybe it’s just an off day. But then it continues to drop. And then your Pinterest traffic doesn’t come back up.
Maybe you panic a bit because Pinterest has been good to you, and you need that traffic. You go to Facebook blogging groups and ask questions about Pinterest traffic being down to see if you’re the only one. You get answers such as, “Oh traffic is down for me too” or “This is just summer slump; it will pick back up.”
So, you continue to wait it out because it seems like this is normal, and you’re not the only one going through it. You wait for the fourth quarter to arrive because it’s the time when bloggers usually make a killing.
But the fourth quarter comes and goes, and your pageviews are no different than earlier in the year. The fourth quarter pageview increases and fourth quarter earnings you were expecting didn’t happen at all!
You are left so disappointed and so let down that you start to think Pinterest just hates you! You might even think about giving up, because if most of your traffic was coming from Pinterest, well, now what?
The truth is that I was in the same boat in January 2017. I even thought that perhaps Pinterest didn’t love frugal bloggers like it used to — that my niche wasn’t a good fit for Pinterest.
I mean, why were all my peers having the same problem? I thought for a while that Pinterest users had moved on to other topics — they simply weren’t searching for frugal living advice as much as they used to. I’m so glad I didn’t let myself believe that.
Anyone that knows me knows that I am not a quitter. I wasn’t going to give up on Pinterest, so I needed to figure out what I could do to gain Pinterest love again.
Check out what happened February 2017:

"This eBook is worth it's weight in gold. I was stuck and struggling, wondering why my traffic was floundering. I was ready to walk away from blogging and determine how I could properly translate my skills to a resume. But, before I gave up completely, I asked for help. Joyce was generous and kind enough to tell me what she was doing with Pinterest. And while I was somewhat skeptical (because it seemed so simple), I followed her advice. And guess what- it worked! In fact, it worked so well that I went from 35k pageviews at the beginning of the year to over 100k pageviews by the end of April! If you are struggling with your pageviews and you are looking for a simple system that works? I'm not sure why you're still reading my testimonial and NOT reading this eBook!"
“ In April, I was lucky if I was getting 600 views day, now I'm bouncing between 1300 and 2500 views a day. That's a HUGE increase!”
"In April, Pinterest changed their algorithms, and my referral traffic plummeted. I was getting several hundred visitors from Pinterest a day. At one point it dropped to under 20.
Luckily, I met Joyce in May. She gave me her tips and outlined her method. Within days, my Pinterest traffic began climbing.
By mid-June, when my ability to work on my blog was drastically reduced due to the end of the school year, my Pinterest traffic was back up to where it was prior to the algorithm changes.
It’s early July, and even though I haven’t been able to implement her process every day, I’m on track to surpass my old Pinterest referral numbers! Joyce’s method is easy to follow and makes complete sense.
This book is gold.

The simple techniques that Joyce shares in her eBook are so very smart. With constantly changing algorithms and different pinning strategies all over the web, it’s important to be looking at the data when tweaking our own pinning strategy. And that’s exactly what she points out in this book. I was one of the guilty few who for so long only focused on creating more content and pinning my newest stuff (especially seasonal) without optimizing pins for my already existing blog posts. It was mind-boggling. As a busy work-at-home mom and blogger, I never have enough time to do it all. Focusing on tweaking and pinning old content with her specific steps, is so much more doable and effective. Definitely a Pinterest resource worth having for those with limited time!
I love books that offer clear, actionable tips to help me improve my blog. This ebook does not disappoint! I have been using this method for several months and am thrilled with my results! This information will definitely have a positive impact on pageviews if you follow the advice given!
